______________________SUNFLOWER SEED SEED MILK______________________
Ingredients:
4 cups water
1 cup sunflower seeds
optional: sweetener (I don't use any)
Method:
Fill the sunflower seeds into a bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak for at least 4 hours. Strain and rinse the seeds.
Fill the sunflower seeds and the 4 cups of water into a high speed blender. First blend the mixture for 2 minutes on highest speed. Then stop and pulse for a few seconds to incorporate sesame seeds that might stick to the walls of the blender. Then blend it for another 2 minutes on highest speed.
The result ist a creamy plant milk with a rich, nutty taste. You can keep it in the fridge for up to three days. Use it in your coffee, for creamy plant based sauces and for your vegan baking.
