There is more to plant millk than just soy and almonds! Try my spelt milk recipe! It is great for lactose intolerant people, vegans and anyone who is into healthy low fat, protein rich nutrition.
1 cup rolled spelt
3 ½ cups water
Pour water and spelt into a high speed blender. Blend on highest speed for at least 2 minutes. Get a bowl with a cheese cloth or nut milk bag ready, pour the milk in and strain it, pressing all liquid out of the bag. Keep the spelt milk in a very clean container in the fridge for up to 4 days. You can use it like any other plant milk.
Don't throw away the pulp, you can use it for smoothies, baking, pancakes etc.
