// EASY SMOKED TOFU // Ingredients: (these are just rough measurements) ● about 10.5 oz. (300g) firm or extra firm tofu ● 1 tbsp soy sauce or liquid aminos ● 1 tbsp vegan vinegar ● 1 tbsp raisins or: 2 Medjool dates ● 1 tsp liquid smoke ● 1 cup water ● chili powder Method: Fill the soy sauce / liquid aminos, the vinegar, the raisins / dates, the liquid smoke, the water and the chili powder into your high speed blender. Mix on highest speed for about a minute. Fill the brine into a container. If desired, cut the tofu into cubes or slices. Place the tofu in the brine. Let marinate in the fridge for at least a few hours, ideally for a day. Store the tofu in the fridge and use it up within three days.
